Located in a picturesque conservation area deep in the Cotswold, the Grade II development combines innovative technologies with traditional building materials. Collaborating closely with Conservation Officers, Ecologists and English Heritage the development compromises specialist engineering, complex technical requirements and open-plan living, maintaining the original, sensitive features. Barnsley House Hotel and Spa, GloucestershireBarnsley House Spa, Gloucestershire

Within the grounds of Barnsley House the new contemporary Spa and garden has been designed to compliment its historic surroundings and to provide a tranquil and calm sanctuary for relaxation. Built using local natural stone the spa features Cotswold Stone floors, dry stone interior walls, floor to ceiling glass and English hardwoods. Inspired by the classic Rosemary Verey Barnsley House Garden, the Spa Garden, designed by Stephen Woodhams, features a sculpture made from old walling stone, a reflecting pond with waterfalls and stone terraces.  See more of the project here

Conversion of farm outbuildings into a modern holiday lettings scheme. Listed Development, working in conjunction with Building control, Historic Building Conservation & Development Control departments to complete/produce a building which works in the modern environment, whilst still remaining sensitive to it’s heritage. Cotswold stone barn featuring original roof timbers, original clay pan tiles.
